Day 2..

So I am pretty proud of myself. I was VERY sore from yesterdays work but, however I DID manage to work out today. :) Today's session was cardio. I had trouble with some of the moves but overall I think I did much better today then yesterday. It wasn't easy but it was definitely doable. I admit that I didn't finish the last 5minutes of the program, but my child started having a crying fit and wouldn't let me put her down. No big deal, but I hope to completely finish tomorrows session.

Day 1..

So today starts my journey to a healthier me. I've always been a chunky girl. It pretty much started about the time I hit puberty. Always bigger than my female friends. Now I am a 5'6", 20 year old woman, weighing in at 183lbs. I just gave birth to my first child about 3 months ago. I figure now is as good a time as any to start losing weight. I was at 160 before getting pregnant. But my ideal weight would be about 145 or so. But so long as I look good, the weight doesn't really matter.

I recently purchased the p90x. I started my first session today. 53minutes of core symergistics. And holy crap did it kick my ass. I couldn't quite execute each move correctly, but I'm not exactly in the best shape. However I expect to get much better as the weeks go on. I am completely sore all over, so I'm assuming that's a good sign.

I really hope I can stick to this. Not that many people whom I'm close to know that I am doing this. I hope to do this more so for myself than anyone else. I feel the pressure from others would discourage my progress.

I have taken some before photos, but until seeSome progress, I refuse to post them for fear of embarrassment. Haha. Anyways. Hope to update my progress tomorrow.
